Who we are

Community After Schools Project (CASPr)

Our objectives are to eliminate early school leaving among children, to provide accredited training and educational opportunities for educationally disadvantaged adults and to work in collaboration with organisations committed to the elimination of poverty and disadvantage in order to improve the physical, economic and social environments of the North East Inner City.

We pursue our aims and objectives by providing an after-school programme from three locations, catering for 150 primary school children in five local schools and Community Employment that includes QQI certified training programmes in childcare and ECDL for 36 local people.

CASPr also works closely with a range of community and statutory agencies to implement the Young People at Risk protocol which involves us developing and implementing care plans for the children most at risk in the community.
